Culturally Safe and Relevant
The CCCDCA is sensitive to both the historical and modern day impacts of colonialism and is committed to fostering a Culturally Safe health service experience rooted in Cultural Humility. We continually lean on and learn from our Indigenous community partners to ensure that our practices, policies, organizational structures and attitudes intersect to honour the customs, teachings, history and beliefs of those we serve. We are committed to this path - learning, listening without judgement, and connecting for better care.
Accessible CCCDCA programming including but not limited to:
Radio Control Cars Program
Expressive Rap Program
Drumming and other cultural experiences (provided by our Indigenous partners)
